👩‍🌾Nearly, all our food grows in soil and act as living resource.It takes long years to form but destroy in minutes. Each year approximately 75 billion tonnes of fertile soil is lost due to erosion. 

👨‍🌾This is alarming sign not only for food producers but also for food security. Soil trap huge quantities of carbon dioxide in the form of organic carbon and prevent it from escaping into the atmosphere.

‍ लगभग, हमारा सारा भोजन मिट्टी में उगता है और जीवित संसाधन के रूप में कार्य करता है। इसे बनने में वर्षों लगते हैं लेकिन मिनटों में नष्ट हो जाते हैं। हर साल लगभग 75 अरब टन उपजाऊ मिट्टी कटाव के कारण नष्ट हो जाती है।

यह न केवल खाद्य उत्पादकों के लिए बल्कि खाद्य सुरक्षा के लिए भी खतरनाक संकेत है। मिट्टी कार्बनिक कार्बन के रूप में भारी मात्रा में कार्बन डाइऑक्साइड को फँसाती है और इसे वायुमंडल में जाने से रोकती है।
