Birds are important part of our life. They don't know human language to interact with humans but give sign of their needs. So, this is our duty to take care of these birds and need to arrange water for them. This is healthy and happiness giving practice. They make our life beautiful and maintain ecological balance. According to Hindu mythologies, worshipping of birds have greater importance to bring prosperity, peace and good will in house. It also decreases vastu dosh in house. Birds are also vehicle of God and Goddess according to Hindu mythologies like peacock, eagle, swan of Kartikey, Vishnu, Saraswati simultaneously. But, It has been seen that there is decrease in numbers and diversity of birds due to loss of habitat, deforestation and degradation of the environment. We(human) don't have time to protect and rethink about these issues.
We have SDG15 goal to act upon and create awareness but are not effective on ground to work upon these issues.
